Cuneo and data processing

Cuneo may from time to time process personal data on behalf of our customers. This is done on the instructions of the customer and on the basis of a data processor agreement.

The purpose of the processing and categories of personal data

The purpose is to handle the collaboration with our customers and suppliers, including establishing contacts with customers and suppliers, invoicing, managing, managing and developing our business and to handle the operation and maintenance of the IT systems that we use in connection with our operation of the company .

The legal basis for our processing is Article 6 (1) of the Danish Data Protection Regulation. 1, letter b.

Depending on the circumstances, we may process identity, contact and professional information, including information about the name, telephone number and e-mail address of customers and customers’ owners as well as the name, title, telephone number and e-mail address of any contact persons at the customer and suppliers.

Registration

The persons – who are affected by our processing of personal data – are the customer, possibly the customer’s owners, contact persons at the customer and suppliers as well as potential customers.

Recipients of personal information

In some cases, we leave your personal information to one of our suppliers – e.g. the supplier of our accounting system. Such a supplier only processes personal data on behalf of Cuneo and it is ensured that the supplier has obtained sufficient security certificates.

It is also ensured that the supplier does not carry out its treatment activities in a third country (i.e. outside the EU / EEA) without the supplier having the necessary legal basis in place.

We may entrust your personal information to external third parties if we are required to do so by the authorities.

Transfer of personal data to third countries

Cuneo uses data processors to the extent that it is necessary to be able to run the company and provide the agreed services. Some of our data processors use subcontractors from the United States.

Because we use Outlook, which is provided by Microsoft Corporation, certain personal information may be compromised by servers located in the United States.

We make sure that sub-processors from the USA are duly certified so that your personal information is always secured.

Data security

Cuneo has adopted internal guidelines for the processing of personal data, which describe procedures that protect your personal data against being lost or altered, against unauthorized disclosure and against unauthorized access to them. Our security measures are periodically checked to ensure a sustained level of protection.

Deletion

We delete your personal information when we no longer need to process it to fulfill one or more of the purposes set out above. However, special public rules may impose on us the obligation to store personal data for a longer period.

Your rights

You have a number of rights in relation to our processing of information about you. You have the right to request insight into the information we process about you, just as you have the right to request that incorrect information about you be corrected and, in special cases, the right to have information about you deleted before the time of our common general deletion occurs.

In addition, in certain cases you have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted. You also have the right to object to the processing of your information.

In certain circumstances, you may also request that we provide you with a copy of your personal information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and request that we transmit the information to another data controller (data portability).
