Julie and Cuneo Charity
Cuneo Charity is a charitable foundation, working to raise funds for Gadens Boern and their work to improve the lives and futures of street children in Kolkata. All contributions goes directly to Gadens Boern, without any cuts or deductions.
Julie Busch is a founding member of Cuneo Charity and has been af part of its administration since 2021.
Your contribution goes directly to Gadens Boern
All donations goes to Gadens Boern and their charitable projects for the approximately 314.700 street children living in Kolkata.
Gadens Boern helps street children with their immediate survival and helps them build a better future for themselves, off the streets.
Tax deductible donation
As a corporate sponsor you can pay your donation via. invoice. You will also receive a donation certificate, so you can claim a tax deduction on your donation.
If you donate as a private person in Denmark, you can get 26 % tax deduction of your donation (please see the tax laws of your own country, if you live outside Denmark).
Donations start at 0,13 euro pr. altimeter
As a corporate sponsor you’ll donate a sum for every altimeter we reach up mt. Kilimanjaro. Fair warning, we plan to climb all the way to top, which is 5.895 altimeter. The minimum donation for corporations is 0,13 euro pr. altimeter, which gives a total donation of 766,35 euros. A donation of that size will be able to feed 2947,5 street children, so your donation goes a long way.

The climb
On September 2’nd our board member Julie Busch will travel to Tanzania to climb Kilimanjaro through the Lemosho route up to Uhuru Peak. The Lemosho route is the longest route up Kilimanjaro. Julie will climb approx. 70 km. over 8 days. The main challenge is the dropping air pressure, as Julie makes her way up the mountain, which makes it increasingly difficult to breathe and move. The Lemosho route will take Julie through both rainforrest and heathland, before she reaches the ice cold top of Uhuru Peak.

On her way up Kilimanjaro, our board member Julie will go through 5 climate zones.

5895 altimeter
With a height of 5895 meters Kilimanjaro is the 4’th highest mountain in the world and part of the seven summits.
It was first ascented by Hans Meyer and Ludwig Purtscheller in 1889.
